Coppell is located nearly evenly between Dallas and Fort Worth, about 22 miles
from Dallas and 29 from Fort Worth. The drive to Dallas is about 35 minutes to a
little over an hour, depending on traffic, and a just a little longer for Fort
Worth. The population of Coppell is about 40,000. The racial makeup is about 78%
White, 7% Hispanic, 4% Asian, 3% Black, 2% Korean, 1.5% Chinese, and a mix of
others. Coppell is upper middle class, with the average household income about
97,000 and for a family about $107,000.
Coppell is also very close to the DFW airport. The main transportation routes
are Interstate Highway 635, which goes into 35E towards Dallas, or Route 121
toward 35W towards Fort Worth.
