If downtown living is what you're interested in, look for future development of the East End, an area that is ripe with change. By living in the East End, you have access to the new minor-league baseball stadium, shopping, dining, urban housing and multiple music venues. Currently the downtown Blue Dome District provides residents with live music and popular restaurants.

Immediately to the south of downtown is referred to as Uptown. This area has homes, condominiums and apartments for rent on the bluff above the Arkansas River. Council Oak Park, Veterans Park and the Boston District, collection of high-quality clubs and restaurants are also located in Uptown.
