Cary, North Carolina
With a population of about 121,000, Cary is the 3rd largest city in the Research
Triangle area near Raleigh and Durham. It's about 12 miles west of Raleigh
off of Interstate 40. The population is currently increasing, due to the number
of jobs, and therefor immigration of northernors. Southernors like to call it
"Containment Area for Relocated Yankees," but this is mostly said with
affection, much like a native of Austin, Texas might say anyone north of Dallas
is a foreigner! In other words, natives are just kidding, and they know they're
getting quickly outnumbered anyway.
Cary is somewhat diverse: 82% of residents identify as white, 8% Asian (mostly
Indian and mainland Chinese), 6% Black, and a statistically very small number of
others. Cary is a fairly affluent and well-educated community, with the average
household income at $76,000; an average for a family is about $89,000. 60% of
adults in the town have a bachelor's degree or higher, and Cary has one of the
highest number of Ph.D. holders in the country. Employers in Cary include SAS
Institute (software), Lockhead Martin (military training software), American
Airlines (airline reservations), and Epic Games (video games creator). In 2006,
Cary was ranked one of the best places to live by Money Magazine.

close by, so you might also consider rentals with those addresses.
