Things to Do in Dunwoody

There's plenty to do in Dunwoody and the greater Atlanta area. Dunwoody Park has a nature center with trails in the woods and beside the streams, display gardens, a wetland boardwalk, and a playground-with shade. The Perimeter Center and Mall is a large retail and commercial area, including a number of hotels for out of town guests. Dunwoody Country Club offers fine dining and a private golf course. The Georgia Aquarium, just inside the Atlanta city limits, is the largest in the world, including such exhibits as white sharks and a giant octopus. The Atlanta Zoo includes a panda cub that was born in 2006, gorillas, and a Komodo Dragon. Centennial Olympic Park, used for the '96 games, is big spot for public celebrations, live music, and festivals, such as the Fourth of July Celebration.
